On 06/05/2025, Mr Adrian Dalli (Director General (Contracts)), signed the contract agreement for the online portal of a Central Data Repository for the Government’s final beneficiary, The Malta Business Registry.  This project had an estimated value of €1.7m excluding VAT.

In the last week of October 2024, a call was published for these services through the Government’s electronic Public Procurement System (ePPS).  Seven (7) submissions were received by the closing date, which was on 26/11/2024, from both local and foreign economic operators.

After a thorough review of all the submitted offers, DataTrust Consortium, were recommended for the award with the recommendations being published on 14/03/2025.

Since no appeals were received, the Department of Contracts proceeded with the drafting of the contract agreement, which was signed by the winning economic operators on 29/04/2025.

The awarded value of the contract was €1.3m excluding VAT and its execution is over an eighty (80) month period.
